• The School under the innovative and able guidance of Sh. Anil Kumar Rao, the Chairman of the school became the first school of Haryana to start Cycle Polo as a game for its students.
• A students participated & received Gold Medals, Colour sets and school bags at national level competition held under Rangotsav Celebration a Mumbai based organization. 
• In Sahodaya Inter School Poster Making Competition the school got 2nd prize.
• Anshul Grewal, a bright NCC Cadet of School got the Best Cadet Award the schools of  Haryana zone. He  also received a cash prize.
• The school got first position in an Inter-school Dance Competition held by Beats Academy of Dance on date  27 December 2016.
• Students participated in Sanskarshala exam conducted by Dainik Jagran. The students are also participating in Scrap Book decoration competition based on the articles published in The Tribune (Student Edition). The students are making their own news papers in the prescribed format by Dainik Bhaskar.
• Students celebrated Sports meet on 24 November and 25 November.
• A tour to Pratapgarh was conducted on 28 September 2015 and more than  500 students along with all staff members enjoyed a trip. 
• The tiny tots celebrated Worlds Animal Day.
• To develop the science & maths aptitude in students an exhibition of models of Science, Maths, S.St, and English was organized. The police department organized Arms & Ammunition exhibition on the same day.
• Finance Minister Captain Abhimanyu awarded Dr.Indu Sharma, Principal DAV Police Public School, Hisar in the esteemed presence of Sh. Anil Kumar Rao, IPS , IGP, Hisar Range, Hisar.
