D.A.V. Police Public School(Affiliation Number:530510) is situated on Delhi Bye pass in front of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar. It was founded by the then Inspector General of Police, Hisar Range, Hisar Dr. John V. George, IPS, in 2002 for providing quality education to the children of Police employees as well as the civilians. He visualized such a school which would fulfil the requirement of overall development of the child. The school got upgraded upto Sr. Sec. level in a very short span of time that is in April 2007.

Honourable Sh. Anant Kumar Dhul, IPS, the then Inspector General of Police, Hisar Range, Hisar took keen interest in the development of the school during his able Chairmanship. He had a very clear vision of a Public School. He worked day and night to ensure quality education to the wards of Police employees at an affordable rate. He wanted to provide consistency and an expert professional guidance to this prestigious institution. It is only due to his efforts that Police Public School emerged as D.A.V. Police Public School, Hisar w.e.f. 01-01-2009. Now it has become really a pride for Hisar town.

At this time the School is guided by Hon’ble Sh. K.P Singh, IPS , DGP, Haryana- cum-Patron of the School and respected  Sh. Amitabh Dhillon , IPS, IGP,Hisar  Range, Hisar -cum- Chairman, D.A.V. The school has an architectural marvel of a building with well ventilated rooms, big playgrounds and sprawling and pedicured lawns with ornamental trees standing like sentinels flavoured with rare creepers and multi coloured flowers.

D.A.V. Police Public School is spread more than an area of 10 acres. With two separate wings of primary and secondary level, more than 42 spacious class rooms other than the rooms like music arts&craft, yoga, multipurpose room, library and separate science laboratories give a spacious look to school. The school has become a haven for sports, co-curricular activities as well as academics with the number of medal tally increasing year after year both in sports and in academics. The school takes a pride naming our many students who have played & won at state,National & international level in hockey, handball and taekwondo and the first and only team of cycle polo in Haryana .Every year some students of school of school are named as the best cadets in NCC Air Wing Haryana and bag a cash prize also a being a police school, other than NCC,NSS, scouts&guides the school also has a wing of PCC/HCC(Haryana cadet core).

Looking at the demand & increasing strength of the school we propose to add one more floor to the primary wing along with an auditorium and swimming pool.
